With the expertise and solution of Dialog Insight, Héma-Québec launched its first personalized email campaign targeted at new donors. This initiative included the development of personalized messages based on individual donor characteristics such as blood type, donation type, age, and gender.
The key messages included a welcome email with an invitation to book an appointment, followed by thank you notes after each donation. To encourage regular donations, reminders emphasizing the importance of the donor’s blood type were sent, along with invitations for additional appointments. After the third donation, donors received a gift as a token of appreciation and were encouraged to share their act of kindness on social media. To strengthen engagement, awareness messages highlighted the importance and impact of each donation. Finally, after the fifth donation, a message was sent encouraging donors to become ambassadors for the cause.
The partnership with Dialog Insight allowed Héma-Québec to make significant strides in its digital communications. Thanks to advanced personalization and message automation, the organization not only increased the retention rate of new donors and the number of donations but also strengthened donors' sense of belonging.
Founded in 1998, Héma-Québec's mission is to effectively meet the needs of the Quebec population in terms of blood and human biological products. With a pool of over 208,000 donors and more than 800,000 products distributed annually, the organization plays a crucial role in public health in Quebec.
