The Dialog Insight platform was connected via its Magento extension to collect data on abandoned shopping baskets. This included customer information, added products, abandonment time, and the relevant store. These data points enabled the automation and personalization of reminder emails.
Teams collaborated to define trigger conditions and design an efficient workflow. A cart was considered abandoned after a predefined period, prompting a first reminder email if the transaction remained incomplete. A second reminder could also be scheduled based on user behavior.
Two personalized reminder emails were created, with designs and content tailored to Dubois Agrinovation’s B2B and B2C audiences. These emails included incentives to complete the transaction and personalized details about the abandoned items.
Tracking and reporting rules were established to analyze reminder performance. In 1.5 months, the conversion rate doubled, generating significant revenue through automated emails.
